Korona clothing company was founded in 1992. 1998 marked the beginning of store operations with the opening of the brick-and-mortar location in “Nevsky” Mall. The next few years comprised steady growth and the development of a niche in the Samara fashion landscape. New locations opened in “Babylon” and “Aquarium” Malls as business developed. There was a fourth location in “Rus” Mall in Togliatti that recently closed due to a change of outlook.
2000 was a hallmark year for the company. Korona’s first boutique opened at the intersection of Polevaya and Galactionovskaya streets. The boutique featured Korona’s traditional high-quality menswear and, for the first time, added womenswear from top European designers.
In 2004, “Korona” Boutique moved locations to 21 Novo-Sadovaya Street, increasing assortment and shopping space. At present, “Korona” is the exclusive distributor for a number of famous European fashion houses: Pal Zileri, Karl Lagerfeld, Trussardi Jeans, Baldessarini, MarcCain, D.Exterior, Herno, Peuterey, Dorothee Schumacher and others.
In 2008 we have renewed the Korona shop in Nevsky Mall by increasing the department's territory and assortment.
In 2017, after near 15 years of collaboration, two-storied Marc Cain Store Samara - a separate street-retail monobrand boutique- was finally opened at Volzhskyi Prospect, 37
December 2018 became another turning point for the company, as the flagman Korona shop, previously situated in Nevsky Mall, moved to a grand new location: Fashion Gallery at Molodogvardeyskaya, 153 with even more increase of territory and assortment
The near future includes plans for another Korona boutique in the city center.
